A logo design for Magpie & the Tiger’s restaurant in DC that represents their traditional yet modern Korean-American cuisine with a 90s flair. The design incorporates both traditional and modern elements featuring a magpie and a tiger from a familiar Korean folktale within the iconic “taeguk” symbol, and explores pen and brush techniques. Inspired by ancient royal Korean cuisine, Magpie & the Tiger continues to bring their modern Korean cuisine and dining experience to homes in the area. The full design package included a collection of custom illustrations, packaging and supporting graphics for their branding.
